FESTIVAL LOOK: TINDERBOX PART II

 Top - ASOS
Jeans - Monki
Flannel - Monki
Boots - Dr Martens
Sunglasses - TopShop

Hiiii! Here's my second outfit for the Tinderbox festival last weekend. The weather turned out a bit shit, so I had to switch out my original planned shorts for jeans, but it was still a sick weekend. Anyway, I did end up falling in love with this look to be honest. It's quite simple, but again; I'm all about comfort during a festival!
I adore this top from ASOS. I instantly fell in love with the cute mermaid print, though it turned out to be a bit more cropped than I had thought. But it's so easy to style and gives a pop to the simple look.
I don't think there's much else to write in this post, I hope you're enjoying your summer so far! I'll see you in my next post!

FESTIVAL LOOK: TINDERBOX PART I

 Shorts - American Apparel
Top - Brandy Melville
Flannel Shirt - Minki
Boots - Dr. Martens
Bag - Primark

I attended to the new Danish festival called Tinderbox this weekend and the experience was great! The line-up was impressive for a first year and the whole thing was done quite well. I thought I'd share the outfits I wore throughout the weekend, starting with friday's outfit. (Even though the pictures are a bit crap and the sun was obviously annoying me quite a lot (I should have worn sunglasses yea))
I love a good festival outfit, and as much as I love the boho cool detailed outfits I have one priority when it comes to festivals: comfort! When I'm at a festival I need to feel comfortable in what I'm wearing. There's a lot of walking, jumping and dancing throughout the weekend so comfortable shoes are a must! If you're living in a northern country like myself, the chance of rain and muddy grass is quite big; so boots is the best way to go. I love my Dr. Martens for festivals, but a pair of Wellies would work out perfectly too.
My Brandy Melville top is the perfect festival piece, like most of Brandy Melville's pieces are, though the weather wasn't the best so I brought my flannel to throw on throughout the day. My small Primark bag is perfect for festivals as well. It costs next to nothing and fits all your festival essentials easily.
In case your interested; my favourite performances on Friday was definitely Hozier and Major Lazer!
I think that's it for now, stay tuned for part II!

FLOWERS IN THE WINDOW

Shirt - Thrifted
Jeans - Topshop
Boots - Topshop
Hat - H&M

Finally! I haven't done a post in ages because life's been a bit mental lately; so many exams and such. But I am so excited to be back! I've missed blogging so much and this little break has definitely made me realize that i want to start blogging properly and often!

Anyway, I'm really into these kinds of outfits lately. I'm in love with oversized patterned button ups and this is one my thrifted founds. It's quite colourful compared to what I usually wear, but I'm trying to wear more colours for summertime. The boots are my favourite pair at the moment, I got them at a bargain price in Topshop for only 14£! I think the usual price was 50£, so it was a pretty good deal. They go with everything and were so comfortable to walk around in.
I think that's about it for this post. I hope you're all doing well! I have a music festival coming up next weekend so stay tuned for some festival outfits coming up soon!

RIFF RAFF

 Levis Denim Jakcet - Thrifted
T-Shirt - Thrifted
Bag - Topshop
Shorts - Pieces
Tights - H&M
Boots - Dr Martens

I wore this outfit for a concert the other day and I quite liked it. It's perfect for a concert or festival, it's comfortable and the boots make it easy to jump and dance around. I decided to go with tights instead of jeans to avoid getting too hot, which turned out to be a good idea from all the jumping I did. This ACDC band tee is probably my favorite band tee out the many I own, I don't think I'll ever get tired of wearing it.
I want to do loads more festival/concert looks for the upcoming season so stay tuned for those! Festival season is the best time of the year really!

MAKE THEM ALL BURN

Calvin Klein Jumper - Dr Adams
Jeans - Dr Denim
Levis Denim Jacket - Thrifted
Bag - Topshop
Boots - Bianco

I recently thrifted this Levis denim jacket and I'm so in love with it! It's perfect for the spring weather and the fit is perfect. I love when you do a really good purchase! I've basically been living in this jumper since I got it. I think I've actually already made a post wearing it a few months ago, but I really do wear it way too much. These grey skinnies is a great way to change up the usual black skinnies look, without too much of a drastic change. My Topshop backpack is a relatively new purchase too, so it might still be in stores. I've been using it to for school and just to run everyday errands. It's great because my Macbook fit in it and it's just really comfortable to walk around with for hours.

LOVELY LITTLE THINGS

Scented Candle Ikea

Hi there! I wanted to do a little post on some of the things I've been loving lately. One of my favourite things to do at night is to curl up in bed with a nice cup of tea and a good book. Lately I've been reaching for Alexa Chung's It. Alexa is without a doubt one of my main fashion icons, she is so lovely! Her book is such a good read, it's perfect for just having a flip through. I would definitely recommend everyone to give her book a read, especially if you find Miss Chung as interesting as I do. Miss Dior has been my main choice in fragrances at the moment. I was lucky enough to receive this lovely fragrance as a Christmas present last year and it has been my go to scent ever since. It's perfect for going out, but works great for every day use as well. I love a good fragrance, it's a must have!

My Bleach London Silver Shampoo has been an absolute life saver in the last couple of months. It works perfectly for my bleached hair and leaves it nice and white. It's definitely the best silver shampoo I've used so far and I have already repurchased it. I've been a bit slow on the Benefit They're real bandwagon, simply because getting Benefit products delivered to Denmark is close to impossible. I had to get someone to buy me one at the Copenhagen airport tax free area, that seems to be the only place they are available here. However when I finally got my hands on this product I fell in love with it. I was a bit afraid it wouldn't work well for me, since my eyes are a bit too sensitive to handle heavy mascaras, but for some reason I can wear this one without my eyes hurting. I must say that it is an absolute pain to clean off though, but I feel like everyone has that problem.

The Naked 3 palette has some amazing colours in there and has been an definite favourite of mine. I'm still trying out different looks with it, there are just so many options! I've always been a big music fan, for as long as I can remember. When I was about 15 I bought a record player and I've been collecting them ever since. Lately I've been getting really into vinyl again, there is nothing like listening to an old record. My Beats by Dre has been a constant in my bag. If you love music and need to block out the world when you're on the bus like me, then these are perfect for you! The sound is great and they look quite cool, at least in my opinion. Only problem is they are a bit large on my small head, but it works out alright.

This kind of a post is a bit different from what I usually do on this blog, but I hope you liked it. I quite enjoyed writing it to be honest, so I might start doing a bit more like this. Maybe monthly favourites? Let me know which things you've been loving lately down it the comments, I'd love to check them out. :)

OUT OF THE WOODS

 Jeans - Topshop
T-Shirt - Missguided
Flannel Shirt - H&M
Coat - Thrifted
Boots - Dr Martens

Hello everyone. Spring is finally starting to appear where I live so I went for a bit of a wander around the woods in the sun. I decided to snap a few shots for a blog post. There's nothing too special about this outfit really, but it is one of my go-to looks on a weekly basis. Basically this is what I will usually wear around campus or just on a lazy day. It's comfortable and the coat keeps me warm in the wind. Sorry this post was quite short and random, I will try to write my next post soon!

YOU MAKE THE STREETS A WONDER

Coat - MTWTFSS Weekday (similar)
Shirt - MTWTFSS Weekday
Jeans - Dr. Denim
Shoes - Pavement
Hat - H&M
Bag - H&M

This is one of my favourite outfits to wear at the moment! I'm obsessed with shirts similar to this, it's definitely become a staple piece for me. Spring is coming and the weather is already becoming much better, though that means it's my last chance to get the last use out of my long black coat. This coat has been a lifesaver during the winter and I will most likely be reusing it next winter. I was having a bit of a bad hair day so I threw on this hat from H&M. I've had it for about a year, but to be honest I haven't gotten much use out of it. Though after wearing it with this I'm kind of in love with it, so I'll most likely be sporting it through the spring.

BLEACH LONDON PRODUCT REVIEW

If you've been following my blog since the beginning you'll know that I went blonde last summer. I used to have very dark brown hair, so going blonde was a long complicated process. After spending a ridiculous amount of money at my hairdresser, I decided to do my roots at home. I've always heard great things about Bleach Londons products, so I was very excited to give them a go. I used the Bleach London Total Bleach for my roots, followed by the Bleach London White Toner and lastly the Bleach London Silver Shampoo. I'm going to do a review on each product.
Total Bleach
I only used this product to do my roots, so I'm not sure how it would work for a full bleach. Anyway, my roots are a standard brown colour and were at least 8cm long (I would definitely recommend to not let your roots grow that long before the bleach). Inside the kit you get a tint brush, mixing tub, gloves, developing lotion, x2 sachets of bleaching powder an an instructional booklet. I was quite surprised to see 2 sachets of bleaching powder, since I'm used to only using one. I'm assuming this is why it took a while to mix it properly. I would recommend using a bowl instead of the small mixing tub if you're a bit messy like me. The brush had the perfect size and was great for doing root regrowth with.
The bleach devolped very quickly on me, I could see the difference within minutes. I left the mixture on for 35-40 minutes and then washed it out. I didn't notice any itching or burning in the begning, but after about 10 minutes it did start itching, but nothing too terrible. I didn't notice any burning at all, which I have experienced with some bleaches in the past.
Even though my roots were long the bleach had managed to work on all of it. I'm really impressed with the result it left and my hair didn't get fried at all. Obviously it left a pale yellow band, which is why I would definitely recommend to buy the White Toner kit as well.
White Toner
In the White Toner kit you get the developing lotion in a applicator bottle, colourant, gloves and an instruction booklet. I just mixed it in the applicator bottle and applied it from there, but you could use a bowl and apply it with a pencil if that's what you prefer. The applicator bottle worked fine for me though. The texture was a bit thinner than the bleach and was very easy to apply. I decided to leave it on for a bit longer than the instruction suggest, which was simply because I wanted the result to be as grey as possible. (Also I have used this toner before and was familiar with it) In total I left it on for about 25 minutes. I was impressed with the toner! Although there is still some more yellowy patches in my hair, I think this has more to do with the fact that my original bleach was not the best and the only way to repair this would be to bleach my lengths again. The toner is advertised as semi-permanent and will wash out but I was a bit disappointed to find that a lot of the grey tones had gone after the next time I washed my hair. A silver shampoo definitely helps keeping the right colour, but I think I would repurchase the White Toner and apply it twice a monthly or so.
Silver Shampoo
I've previously been using the Schwartzkopf BC Colour Freeze Silver Shampoo, which worked fine but didn't impress me immensely. So that's why I had high hopes for Bleach Londons silver shampoo. And it's for sure better than my old one. For the first application I decided to pencil it into my hair using the same pencil as I did with the bleach (obviously a new clean one). If you've just bleached your hair then I recommend to do this, just to make sure that you get the shampoo everywhere. I was a bit nervous it would turn my hair purple or blue, but it turned into a really cool white/grey colour. Since then I've used the shampoo about 4 or 5 times in the shower. I've been leaving it on for less than 5 minutes each time and it leaves a great result every time. It doesn't make my hair as frizzy as the Schwartzkopf Silver Shampoo did. I still want to try some more different silver shampoos to find the perfect one, but I'm excited to keep using this one for a time.

Overall I am definitely impressed with all of the products and will definitely purchase them again! I bought one of Bleach Londons Super Cool Colours as well and I'm so excited to try it out! Let me know if you would like to see a review on that product as well. I hope this review was helpful and alright, I was a bit nervous posting it since it's my first one. But thanks for reading, let me know if you try any of these products.

VALENTINE

Leather Jacket - Topshop
Top - Topshop

Hi everybody! I had a little Valentines date with my girls the other night and I thought I'd show you guys my outfit and what we got up to. I love this outfit for going out. It's quite simple, but I decided to spice it up by adding my statement Jeffrey Campbell Litas. I bought these shoes a couple years ago, back when everyone was sporting them. To be honest I haven't gotten much use out of them, but I am trying to incorporate them into my current style more.
We ordered sushi for dinner, which was so delicious! Yum!
And of course we had to go the movies and watch Fifty Shades of Grey for valentines. I'm still a bit confused about my opinion of the movie, but I think it was quite good. Jamie was gorgeous and I ended up loving Dakota Johnson. Have you seen the film yet? If so let me know what you thought of it! :)
I'm really excited about my next post, which will be a product review! So tune in soon for that :)
I hope you're all having a lovely day. I will see you soon!
By the way, follow me on any social media if you want to. I'd love to chat to you guys!

BABY, THE WAY YOU DO

Coat - Second-hand
Calvin Klein Jumper - Dr. Adams
Jeans - Dr. Denim
Boots - Pavement
Scarf - Monki

AY it's my first blogpost of 2015! Happy New Year everybody! I hope you all had a great start at the new year.
This is one of my absolute favourite outfits at the moment. I was lucky enough to get a Calvin Klein jumper for Christmas and I've pretty much lived in it since. I found this amazing coat at a local charity shop and it was a total bargain since it only cost 7£! Mental! It's so easy to style and I just love the look of it.

Lately I've been using an app called StyleKick a ton. It's perfect for getting style inspiration! If I'm having a hard time picking out an outfit for the day, scrolling through the app for a minute helps so much. The best part is that you can actually shop the look directly from the app! I would definitely recommend for you guys to check it out!
